SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall Head Coach Natalie Desjardins announced the 2021 Seton Hall women's golf fall schedule on Wednesday. The Pirates will participate in four tournaments this fall.
Â
The Pirates will begin competition this fall at the Nittany Lion Invitational. The three-round tournament hosted by Penn State will take place on the University's Blue Course, Sept. 4-5. The last time The Hall played the event, in the fall of 2019, senior Sarah Fouratt (Santa Maria, Calif.) and former Pirate Maddie Sager tied as the individual champions with a 2-under-par, 214, to set a new three-round, par-72 record-low for Seton Hall. As a team, the Pirates placed third in the 12-team field.
Â
Three weeks later, The Hall will travel to nearby Springdale Country Club for two rounds of golf at the Princeton Invitational. It will be the ninth time in 12 years that the Pirates have participated in the event.  Most recently, Seton Hall won the team title in 2019 with a 1-under-par, 283-292-575, which set a new program record for a two-round, par-72 tournament. Former Pirate Sammie Staudt tied for second place with a new career-low 3-under-par, 68-73-141.Â
Â
In October, the Pirates will look to claim their third top-2 finish in the last three outings at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational, Oct. 16-17, at Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Del. Hosted by the University of Delaware, The Hall finished second in the 11-team field in 2019, after claiming the team title in 2018.Â
Â
Finally, the Pirates will wrap up the fall season with the St. John's Invitational, Oct. 25-26. The Hall hasn't competed in this tournament since winning the team title in 2014. This year's event will be played at St. Andrews Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y.
