South Orange, N.J. – Seton Hall women's swimming and diving fell at home to La Salle on Saturday afternoon by a score of 166-134.

Amanda Zajdzinski (Mesa, Ariz.) had another strong showing, claiming victory in both distance events to go along with a second-place finish. The junior swam a top-10 time in program history in the 1000 Free, touching the wall in 10:24.14 to win the event. Zajdzinski would later claim victory in the 500 Free with a time of 5:05.70, along with a second-place time of 1:54.96 in the 200 Free.

The Pirates dominated in the 400 IM, sweeping the top three spots. Allie Waggoner (Moorestown, N.J.) took the top spot in the race, recording a time of 4:38.40. Behind her was Claire O'Neill (Mount Joy, Pa.) in second place and Savannah Kennedy (Fishers, Ind.) in third.

Seton Hall captured three other first-place finishes on the day. Natalie Heim (Middletown, N.J.) claimed victory in the 200 Free in a time of 1:53.84, as well as second-place finishes in the 100 Free and in both relay events. Sierra Cripps (Seymour, Conn.) grabbed first place in the 100 Fly and second place in the 200 Fly, while also finishing inside the top-three in both relays. Cornelia Jerresand (Taeby, Sweden) touched the wall first in the 50 Free with a time of 24.67 as the Pirates claimed two of the top three spots in the race.

Laura Stavila (Oakland, Calif.) had a pair of second-place performances in the diving portion of the afternoon. The junior posted a score of 226.50 in the 1M dive, and later put up a 241.27 to narrowly finish in second in the 3M.

The Pirates return to the pool next Saturday afternoon as they host Drexel at Arthur E. Imperatore Natatorium at 12 p.m.
