
O'Donovan Scores a Win in The Hall's Setback to Rutgers

East Brunswick, N.J. - Sophomore Emily O'Donovan picked up a win at No. 6 singles, but the Seton Hall women's tennis team dropped an in-state battle against Rutgers, 5-1, Friday afternoon at East Brunswick Racquet Club.
O'Donovan earned the win with a 6-3 victory in the first set, and she was up 2-1 in the second set when her opponent, Kristiana Zahare retired.
The other Pirate to score a set win was junior Hiba El Khalifi, who won the first set against Minchae Kim at No. 4 singles. Kim then won the second set, and the match went unfinished once Rutgers clinched.
Seton Hall is headed south for spring break and will face fellow BIG EAST member Creighton on Tuesday in Orlando, Fla., at 6:30 p.m.
