Lucas Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Seton Hall's Perri Lucas (Chicago, Ill.) was named to the BIG EAST Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

Lucas was an offensive force for the Pirates last weekend, leading the team with 3.22 kills per set. On Friday against Villanova, she had 11 kills, only one attack error, a .417 attack percentage and two digs in a four-set setback. At Georgetown on Saturday, Lucas erupted for a season-high 18 kills with only two attack errors and a team-best .485 attack percentage.

Creighton's Norah Sis was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, while Marquette's Sarah Kushner earned Defensive Player of the Week. Villanova's Abby Harrell was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. Those joining Lucas on the Weekly Honor Roll include Butler's Cara Taylor, Creighton's Kiana Schmitt, Marquette's Ella Foti and Villanova's Andrea Campos.

Seton Hall will return to action on Friday, Oct. 27 when it returns to historic Walsh Gymnasium for a match against Butler. Match time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
