Clyde Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

South Orange, N.J. - Graduate student Alex Clyde (Old Tappan, N.J.) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after a strong weekend all around at the plate and in the field.
Clyde hit .421 (8-for-19) with a team-best six runs scored and four RBI in a 3-2 week for the Pirates. He racked up three multi-hit games and struck out only once in 23 plate appearances. In the field, Clyde started all five games last week at first base and didn't commit an error. He also went 5-for-12 in the series against St. John's and crossed the plate three times in the series clinching victory on Sunday.
