MILWAUKEE, WIS. – Graduate student Maddie Klungel (Napa, Calif.) finished one dig shy of a double-double, but the Seton Hall women's volleyball team fell in three sets at Marquette, 3-0 (18-25, 14-25, 19-25) on Sunday.

The Pirates led by three mid-way through the third set, but a 10-2 run for Marquette put them in position to sweep. Today's loss officially eliminates the Pirates from BIG EAST Tournament contention.
Â
Klungel, the reigning BIG EAST Setter of the Week, finished with 17 assists, nine digs and four kills in another strong all-around performance.
Â
Perri Lucas (Chicago, Ill.) and Madison Loiselle (Tampa, Fla.) led The Hall with seven kills apiece.

Marquette led wire-to-wire in the second set, scoring three of the first four points of the frame. The Hall cut its deficit to 11-7, but the Golden Eagles took off on a 10-2 run to grab a commanding 21-9 advantage. The Pirates hit .000 in the second set, while Marquette had a match-high .406, and the Golden Eagles won set two, 25-14.
Â
