NEW YORK, N.Y. – The BIG EAST Conference announced Wednesday morning that defender Agustin Resch was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team, while midfielder Til Kauschke and forward Mikkel Lejbowicz landed on the All-BIG EAST Second Team. The All-BIG EAST teams recognize the BIG EAST's top players across the regular season, as determined by the coaching staffs.
Resch, who was also named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year, built upon last year's Second Team selection with a dominant two-way campaign that earned him First Team honors. The towering 6-foot-6-inch Argentinian centerback was a disruptive force in the Pirates' defensive third, utilizing his height and speed to block shots, shut down runs and disrupt shooting angles on a Seton Hall defense that ranked 31st nationally in goals allowed average (0.824 GAA). Offensively, his height on set pieces, as well as his passing prowess, helped him record career-high marks in goals (2), assists (3), and points (7). With the selection, Resch becomes 19th player in program history to earn All-BIG EAST First Team honors and the first since Lucas Dahn and Quenzi Huerman in 2022.

Kauschke earned his first-ever All-BIG EAST selection after helping lead the Pirates to their best offensive season under the guidance of Head Coach Andreas Lindberg. The German served as the midfield catalyst for everything the Pirates did offensively, setting career-high marks in minutes (1416), goals (4) and points (12), in addition to leading the team in assists (4). In the opening half of the season, he befuddled opposing defenses, collecting seven points in three games, including his first career brace against FDU. Kauschke's selection marked the second time a Pirates' midfielder has been selected to an All-BIG EAST team under Linberg's tenure and the first since James Boote's Third Team honors in 2023.THE BIG MAN PUTS US IN FRONT OFF THE CORNER! 🏴☠️

Lejbowicz, aided by Kauschke's rise, rode a dominant first season in South Orange all the way to All-BIG EAST honors. After a dominant stretch run to close the regular season, in which he logged five goals in as many games, Lejbowicz led the team in shots (33), goals (7) and points (15) on the season. That prodigious attacking power landed the sophomore eighth in shots per game (2.36), fifth in points per game (1.07) and fourth in goals per game (0.50) among all BIG EAST players. The Danish forward finished tied with past Seton Hall All-BIG EAST selections CJ Tibbling and Quenzi Huerman for the most goals in a single season by any player during Lindberg's tenure. However, Lejbowicz achieved the feat in the fewest games, minutes and shots of the trio.TIL KAUSCHKE, QUÉ GOLAZO‼️#HALLin🔵⚪️ pic.twitter.com/DiSY8CCsIb
