Lejbowicz Collects Fourth Honor Roll Selection of Season

NEW YORK, N.Y. – After netting a big goal in the Pirates' draw against Creighton, forward Mikkel Lejbowicz (Farum, Denmark) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday.
Lejbowicz continued his hot streak on the pitch in the early stages of the Pirates' final road bout against the Creighton Blue Jays. The sophomore launched a shot inside the box that rebounded off a Blue Jays defender as he was clattered to the ground. Still lying on the ground, Til Kauschke dealt him the ball. From his side, the Dane rattled the bar past the Blue Jays' keeper at the near post to put the Pirates up 1-0. The match would eventually end in a 1-1 draw.
With his selection week, that marked the third consecutive week, and fourth week in total, that Lejbowicz has landed on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll this season.
Seton Hall will play next on Friday, November 7, when they play host to the UConn Huskies on senior day. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with opening kick set for 6:56p.m. EST.
