Seton Hall All-Time vs. Providence: 56-60 (Streak: L3)
NOTES YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Seton Hall is off to its first 10-1 start since 2011-12. That year was also the last time the program opened 11-1.

- These two teams often play close matchups, with each of the last four meetings and nine of the last 12 decided by six points or less.
- Shaheen Holloway is 2-1 all-time at Amica Mutual Pavilion as Seton Hall's Head Coach.
- Seton Hall is 8-4 in BIG EAST openers since the league reconfigured in 2013.
- While Providence leads the all-time series with the Pirates, Seton Hall is 39-37 against the Friars in BIG EAST regular season games all-time.
- Providence is 32-10 over the past three years in regular season home games, with two of those losses coming at the hands of Seton Hall.
- Those losses were an 82-58 victory for the Pirates on March 4, 2023 as well as a 61-57 win for Seton Hall in Friartown on Jan. 3, 2024.

WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO LATELY
- Seton Hall reclaimed the Boardwalk Trophy on Saturday by defeating in-state rivals Rutgers, 81-59, in the Garden State Hardwood Classic.
- Budd Clark was named the Joe Calabrese MVP of the game, finishing with 16 points, seven assists, four steals and just one turnover.
- Clark was also named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for his efforts.
- Three of Clark's steals came within the first two minutes of the game, and 14 of his 16 points came after halftime.
- The Pirates grabbed a signature road win on Dec. 6, downing Kansas State, 78-67, for their first win over a Big 12 foe since downing Texas, 64-60, on Dec. 7, 2021.
- The Longhorns were ranked No. 7 in that game, which served as Seton Hall's last non-conference ranked win before it defeated No. 23 NC State at last week's Southwest Maui Invitational.
- Picked to finish last in the BIG EAST before the season, the Pirates have already surpassed last year's win total and have scored double-digit signature wins over No. 23 NC State in Maui as well as on the road at Kansas State.
- Budd Clark secured his first double-double of the season against CCSU on Dec. 3, dishing out a career-high matching 12 assists to pair with 10 points.
