Princeton, N.J. - The Seton Hall tennis team battled hard in a road match at Princeton but succumbed to the Tigers, 4-0, Saturday afternoon in Jadwin Gymnasium.
"The doubles again today was very impressive," said head coach James Enzler. "We took risks and attacked when we needed to very well. We are in a good place in doubles, we just need to add variety for when we choose to attack. In singles, I was extremely proud of the mental strength that we showed from court one to court six. We have talked all week long about not letting points we lose affect our body language, and we did that better than ever today. I'm really proud of how these girls have mentally performed and excited to see if that continues, what results will come with it."
The Pirates are going to play at home next weekend, facing BIG EAST foe UConn on Friday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m., and then hosting Colgate on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. Both matches will take place at Murray Hill Tennis & Fitness in New Providence, N.J.
