South Orange, N.J. -- Cole Hansen and Aiden Robbins have been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after helping lead the Seton Hall baseball team to a sweep of Butler this past weekend.
Hansen threw a complete game and struck out a career-high 10 batters with no walks in a 7-2 win over Butler on Sunday that completed a three-game sweep. Hansen's performance marked the only complete game in BIG EAST play this season and the second-highest strikeout total of any BIG EAST pitcher. It was the first complete game for a Seton Hall pitcher since 2021 when Tyler Burnham tossed a no-hitter against Georgetown at Mike Sheppard, Sr. Stadium.
Robbins hit .455 with three doubles, five runs and two RBI in a sweep of Butler this past weekend. The sophomore led the team in hits, runs and total bases in the three games. Robbins posted his 11th three-hit game of the season on Saturday where he went 3-for-4 and scored the go-ahead run in the seventh inning in the Pirates' 5-4 win that clinched the series.
