Kira Farrakhova continued her recent hot streak, defeating Ela Platenikova in the No. 1 position, 6-2, 4-6, 6-4. She now has a team-best 18 overall wins and 10 wins in spring duals, and she is now 4-2 in BIG EAST singles matches.Â
Anastasia Sereda was a straight sets winner at No. 3, topping Victoria Matos, 6-4, 6-2. She ends the regular season having won three singles matches in a row and improves to 3-3 in BIG EAST singles matches.
Rachel Benoualid picked up a second BIG EAST singles win on the season, defeating Madison Mcleod in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3.
The Pirates had two opportunities to take the team match, but the Huskies came back to win a deciding third set at No. 2 and No. 6.
Seton Hall will now prepare for the 2026 BIG EAST Championship, taking place April 16-19 in Cayce, S.C. The team's seeding and opponent is expected to be announced on Monday.
