2023-24: Posted season best time in the 100 Y Fly at the BIG EAST Championships … finished top five in seven events this season.
2022-23: Secured a second place finish in the 50 Free against Monmouth (10/28)… Swam a season best time of 56.58 in the 100 Fly at the WVU Invitational… Part of the winning 200 Free Relay team against Lehigh (1/13)… Swam a season best time of 23.81 in the 50 Free at the BIG EAST Championships.
2021-22: SHU Sophomore Scholar-Athlete of the Year... Nabbed a pair of personal best times at the Patriot Invitational in the 50 Free (24.05) and 100 Free (52.72)… Surpassed both of those times at the BIG EAST Championships, setting new top times in the 50 Free at 23.50 and 100 Free at 51.96… Her 50 Free time was the leadoff leg of the 200 Free Relay, which set a new program record of 1:33.17… Also set a new top personal time in the 100 Fly (55.63).
2020-21:Â Took fourth in the 100 Fly in her first collegiate meet against Villanova (3/7)... Placed second in the 100 Fly during Seton Hall's Senior Day (3/20)... Earned points with a new program top-10 time of 56.34 in the 100 Fly and a sixth place finish at BIG EAST Championships (4/9)... Named Seton Hall's Co-Freshman Female Scholar Athlete.
Before SHU:Â Swam four years at Verona Area High School in Verona, Wisc.... Was named All-State in the 200 Medley Relay from 2016-18 including an All-American selection in 2018 for the event... Holds the school record in the 200 Medley Relay and was named a team captain during her senior season... Also swam as part of the Badger Aquatics Club for 10 years where she was a seven-time state qualifier and NCSA Junior Nationals qualifier... Elected President of Student Council and graduated Verona Area Summa Cum Laude... Awarded the Silver Cord in recognition of outstanding volunteerism... Daughter of Karen and John McCartney... Has two siblings, Max and Amelia... Born Oct. 2, 2001.
