2013-2014: One of five unanimous selections to the All-BIG EAST Women[apos]s Tennis Team, becoming the first Pirate to earn the award three times...Led the team in dual match victories for the fourth-straight year, finishing 14-7 (.667) in 21 appearances at #1...Wrapped up her career with 79 total singles wins, the second most in program history behind Kristen Downing (86)...Finished first on the team with 16 singles wins in the spring (16-9, .640)...Became the first Pirate to be named BIG EAST Player of the Week twice in the same season... Teamed with classmate Rocio Portela to record 20 doubles victories, pushing school record total as a pair to 62...Advanced to the second round at the West Point Invitational with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph over Maxie Weinberg of Connecticut...Earned a quarterfinal berth at the USTA Collegiate Invitational by defeating Katya Medianik (Binghamton), 6-4, 6-4...Was invited to compete in both singles and doubles at the USTA/ITA Northeast Regional Championship for the fourth time in her career...Began the fall with an A flight semifinals appearance at the Cornell Invitational...Again defeated Katya Medianik for her first dual match win of the season...Followed by prevailing over Ksenia Kuzmenko (NJIT) and Erin Snook (Navy) to extend the win streak to three...Dispatched Fairfield[apos]s Monica Yajima in straight sets to start a new unbeaten streak, one that featured eight consecutive victories...During the run, she did not yield a single set and scored victories over conference foes Mikelle Mancini (Villanova) and Maria Clara Bernardez (Providence) to aid the team effort in a pair of crucial BIG EAST wins...Added a third BIG EAST win with a 7-5, 6-2 result over Victoire Sapperstein of Georgetown during a trip to the nation[apos]s capital...Completed the regular season with a 6-0, 6-1 victory against Monmouth[apos]s Brooke Verdiglione...Contributed to the Pirates[apos] 4-0 consolation round victory against Butler at the BIG EAST Championship with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Stephanie McLoughlin at #1... 2012-2013: Reached the 20-win mark for the third-straight season, going 21-11 and leading the Pirates in individual victories...Became the first player in Pirate history to record three-straight 20-win seasons...Named to All-BIG EAST Women[apos]s Tennis Team for the second consecutive year, making program history by earning the honor a second time...Received the Cissie Leary Award for Sportsmanship from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA)... Competed out of the #1 position for singles and doubles matches...Won the 'A' flight Quinnipiac invitational winning all three matches over players from Providence including the final over Marisela Aviles-Duron...Followed with a finals appearance in the 'A' flight finals of the Bill and Sandra Moore Invitational...Downed Anna Rapoport of Fairleigh Dickinson, the #110-ranked player in the nation, in the Pirates[apos] lone dual match of the fall...Invited to participate in singles at the ITA Northeast Regional Championship...Advanced to 'A' flight final at the Cornell Invitational to start the spring...Posted a 12-6 record (.667) in dual match competition...Defeated Erin Colton of Army and Binghamton[apos]s Katherine Medianik to kick-off the dual match slate...Registered consecutive victories over Towson[apos]s Ayana Dow and Emani Decquir of Navy during a two-match swing in Maryland...Prevailed in her final five matches of the regular season, all against BIG EAST opposition, to finish with a 5-1 record against league foes...The stretch was highlighted by a dominant 6-1, 6-2 victory against Vanessa Petrini of Rutgers, the fourth-ranked player in the Northeast region...Teamed with classmate Rocio Portela to record a team-high 18 doubles wins, adding to their program record total as a pair...Rattled of four-straight wins including an 8-3 showing against Johnson and Stokes of Howard to win the Bill and Sandra Moore Invitational 'A' flight championship... 2011-12:Became first Pirate in program history to earn All-BIG EAST and BIG EAST Player of the Week honors...Named a tri-recipient of Seton Hall[apos]s Sophomore Female Athlete of the Year Award...Played every match at number one singles for the second straight year...Reached 20 wins for second consecutive campaign, leading the team in victories...Went 4-1 against opponents listed in the national or regional rankings...Won her final three matches at the Eastern Intercollegiate Championships to take home the Honor bracket consolation title...Won her first match at the ITA Regional tournament, advancing to the second round for the second time in her career...Defeated Army[apos]s Erin Colton to start the spring season...Scored back-to-back wins against Darien Sears of Navy and Manhattan[apos]s Lili Johnson...Downed Providence Marisela Aviles-Duron for her first BIG EAST victory of the season...Bested Amy Simidian of #73 Fordham, the 16th ranked player in the Northeast region...Dominated Georgetown[apos]s Lauren Greco, the seventh ranked player in the Atlantic region...Out-dueled Vanessa Petrini of rival Rutgers, the fifth ranked player in the Northeast region...Trumped #57 Syracuse[apos]s Emily Harman who entered the match rated as the #108 player in the nation...Finished the regular season 8-1 versus BIG EAST opponents... Teamed with Rocio Portela to form Pirates[apos] top doubles team...Advanced to second round of the ITA Regional Tournament in doubles...Part of a duo that racked up 13 consecutive wins in the spring and went 7-1 against BIG EAST opponents...Along with Portela, set a new SHU records for doubles wins as a pair in a single season (15)...The tandem also broke the school[apos]s career record for wins as a team, surpassing the previous record with a road win over Kelly Comolli and Lauren Greco of Georgetown... 2010-11:Competed in the No. 1 singles and doubles spots the entire season... Won the Quinnipiac Invitational singles 'A' Bracket in first collegiate tournament... Qualified for ITA Regionals and won first round match against Manhattan[apos]s Lili Johnson, 6-0, 6-1... Paired with Rocio Portela at ITA Regionals and advanced to second round... Teamed with Belfin Sunbul to top #69 Marquette[apos]s top duo of Gillian Hush and Christina Ruiz... Went five sets without losing a game during a stretch from Mar. 9-11... Picked up first BIG EAST victory over West Virginia[apos]s Melis Tanik in straight sets (7-5, 6-3)... Upset Georgetown[apos]s Stephanie Wetmore, who had been ranked in the top-100 by the ITF in 2009, in three-sets.
High School/Personal: Won Bank of China Hong Kong Bauhinia Bowl 2009-10 Outstanding Athlete Award... Won Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation Interschool Competition from 2004-10... Represented her country in the 2009 Fed Cup, an international tennis competition held annually similar to the Davis Cup... She was ranked as high as eighth in Hong Kong[apos]s national rankings... Has had success with limited play in ITF tournaments as a junior and also on the women[apos]s circuit... Won a doubles title at the 2008 Chinese Recreation Club Open, which is the most prestigious tournament in Hong Kong... Enviornmental studies major... Born June 26, 1992.
