Mercedes Cunningham returns to the Hall after spending her academic Undergraduate and Graduate years in South Orange. Cunningham received her Masters of Science in Athletic Training from the School of Health and Medical Sciences in May of 2014 and her Bachelor of Science in Social and Behavioral Science in May of 2013.

She completed her work as a Graduate student at Union High School in Union, N.J. as well as at at Seton Hall. Prior to re-joining the Pirate staff, Cunningham was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Boston College specializing in Field Hockey and Women’s Lacrosse. While in Massachusetts, Cunningham worked as an Athletic Trainer at Camp Greylock in Becket, Mass. where she implemented ACL rehabilitation protocols for ACL patients. She also worked as a Graduate Assistant at Atlantic Sports Health in Morristown, N.J. as well as at Rutgers Newark.
