After spending the prior five seasons as Seton Hall’s assistant volleyball coach, Yaeger was named the program’s head coach in February of 2012.
The Pirates reached double-figures in BIG EAST Conference wins for only the third time in program history in 2017, all under Yaeger.  During the season, she became only the second coach in program history to reach the 100-win milestone.  in 2016, Seton Hall went 10-8 in the BIG EAST and qualified for its second BIG EAST Tournament in three years.  Tessa Fournier was named BIG EAST Libero of the Year for a third consecutive season.
In 2014, Yaeger led Seton Hall to arguably its most-successful season in program history. The Pirates improved by 12 victories from 2013 to 2014, which was tied for the fourth-best improvement in the country and finished with a 28-8 overall record, the second-most wins ever at Seton Hall. Seton Hall nearly doubled its record for BIG EAST victories with 15, and finished second in the final conference standings after being predicted to place sixth. The season culminated with the program’s first-ever berth in the NCAA Tournament. Seton Hall also landed a program-best four players, Shelbey and Stacey Manthorpe, Tessa Fournier and Amanda Hansen on All-BIG EAST Teams. Fournier was named BIG EAST Libero of the Year, the third straight season that a Seton Hall libero won the award. For all of this success, Yaeger and Matters earned BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year honors, while Yaeger was also named AVCA East Coast Region Coach of the Year.
In 2013, Yaeger helped guide the program to its third straight season with a winning record. The Pirates won two of three matches at the Cavalier Classic and swept LIU-Brooklyn to snap the Blackbirds’ 19-match home win streak. Seton Hall played its best volleyball down the stretch, winning five of its final six matches. Alyssa Warren was named BIG EAST Libero of the Year for a second straight season, while Manthorpe sisters, Shelbey and Stacey, earned Second Team All-Conference honors.
In her first year at the helm, the Pirates had one of their greatest starts to a season in program history and finished with 18 overall victories, the most since 2003. Under Yaeger’s influence, Warren was named BIG EAST Libero of the Year, while Shelbey and Stacey Manthorpe earned All-Conference recognition.
Academically, Yaeger's Pirates have seen tremendous success in the classroom. In her tenure, 73 of a possible 86 players (.849) have landed on the BIG EAST All-Academic Team, and The Hall has been a three-time recipient of the NCAA's Academic Progress Rate Public Recognition Award.
As an assistant, Yaeger helped lead the Pirates to a 17-13 overall record in 2011 and the team posted eight conference wins, the most in school history. Under her guidance, she saw the program break a 15-year postseason drought in 2009 and reach the BIG EAST Championship in each of the past three seasons. Yaeger has played a key role in recruiting along with game and practice preparations.
Prior to coming to Seton Hall, Yaeger was an assistant coach at Binghamton for two seasons. She was responsible for helping the team with defensive and serve reception along with overall ball control. She was also involved with recruiting, making travel arrangements, and aiding various other aspects of the program. Prior to her time at Binghamton, Yaeger served as an undergraduate assistant at her alma-mater, Wright State, during the 2004-05 season.
Yaeger was a standout libero and outside hitter for the Raiders from 2000-2003. She ranks third in the school history with 1,319 digs. After the 2003 season, Yaeger was selected as an honorable mention AVCA All-American as well as Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year.
Yaeger and her husband, Nick, have two sons, Max and Lincoln.
