Â
SET 3:
The third set was also close, with 11 ties and five lead changes, but St. John's again found a way to outlast The Hall. A block by Opland and Subasili tied the set at 12, but the Red Storm answered with a 6-2 run to grab an 18-14 lead. A kill by Safian and a block by Subasili cut The Hall's deficit to 23-19 late, but St. John's closed out a 25-19 victory.
