Seton Hall will return to historic Walsh Gymnasium for the final weekend of the 2025 season. The Pirates will host defending BIG EAST champion Creighton on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 5:00 p.m. On Sunday, Nov. 16, they will host St. John's on Senior Day at 1:00 p.m.

LAST TIME AGAINST CREIGHTON
Freshman Sadie Reich (Wantagh, N.Y.) had a team-high eight kills, but the Seton Hall women's volleyball team fell to No. 13 Creighton, 3-0 (21-25, 15-25, 16-25), on Oct. 19.

The game Pirates came out of the gates playing some of their best volleyball of the season in set one, tying the nation's No. 13 team 16 times, but was ultimately outlasted, 25-21, in a first set that featured nine lead changes.

Reich had eight kills to go with four digs. Junior Rylee Nelson (Mazeppa, Minn.) had a team-best 13 digs. Senior Asli Subasili (Tekirdag, Turkiye) had five kills, no attack errors and a .714 attack percentage.

SCOUTING CREIGHTON
Creighton enters the weekend as the No. 12 ranked team in the country and has won 16 matches in a row. The Bluejays are currently 21-5 overall and a perfect 14-0 in BIG EAST Conference play. Furthermore, in 14 BIG EAST matches, Creighton has lost only four sets. Most recently, they defeated Villanova in four sets on Friday and swept Georgetown on Sunday.

Creighton leads the conference in hitting percentage, kills per set and opponent hitting percentage. Kiara Reinhardt leads the BIG EAST with a .422 attack percentage, while Annalea Maeder is first with 10.37 assists per set. Defending BIG EAST Player of the Year, Ava Martin, is second in the conference with 4.30 kills per set.

Freshmen Daria Safian (Moscow, Russia) and Sadie Reich (Wantagh, N.Y.) combined for 21 kills, but the Seton Hall women's volleyball team fell to St. John's, 3-1 (19-25, 13-25, 25-17, 17-15), on Oct. 14.

Seton Hall was hoping to flip the script after following Saturday's loss to DePaul after leading 2-0. Today, the Pirates found themselves down 2-0, and had a convincing 25-17, set three victory, but couldn't continue the momentum in set four.

Safian finished with a team-best 11 kills, two digs and two blocks. Reich had 10 kills and nine digs. Junior Rylee Nelson (Mazeppa, Minn.) also nearly had a double-double with a match-high 17 digs to go with eight assists.

SCOUTING ST. JOHN'S
St. John's enters the final weekend of the season with a 9-18 record overall and a 5-9 mark in BIG EAST Conference play. The Red Storm's five conference victories have come against Providence twice, Connecticut, Seton Hall, and most recently, at DePaul. In addition to defeating the Blue Demons in four sets in Chicago, St. John's was swept at Marquette last weekend.

St. John's currently ranks last in the BIG EAST in attack percentage and opponent attack percentage.
