BOSTON, MA (Jan. 29, 2001) - Junior Nolle Graham (Bronx, NY) won the 55m dash and the long jump competition and Rohan Alexis (Grenada) took first in the 500m to lead the Seton Hall track & field team at the Terrier Classic on the campus of Boston University.
Graham won the 55m dash with a time of 6.88, which qualifies her for the ECAC Championships and the NCAA Provisionals. The long jump competition was her first of the season. She qualified for the BIG EAST and ECAC Championships with a winning distance of 19'9.50.
Alexis took home the 500m dash title and qualified for the BIG EAST and IC4A Championships with a time of 1:03.10.
Freshman Katrina Sye (Buena Vista, NJ) qualified for the BIG EAST and IC4A Championships by winning the 500m dash with a time of 1:16.56. Senior Shontee Bryant (Silver Spring, MD) finished only .06 seconds behind, placing second and also qualifying for both Championships.
Freshman OJ Hogans (Decatur, GA) took home the 200m dash title, senior Natasha Clary (Plainfield, NJ) qualified for the ECAC Championships by winning the 55m hurdles with a time of 8.09, and both 4x400m relay teams won their respective finals.
The Seton Hall track and field team will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Millrose Games in Madison Square Garden.
