Griffin Named To NABC All-District Team

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - Seton Hall freshman Eddie Griffin (Philadelphia, PA) has
been named to the NABC/Chevrolet Division I All-District 3 Team as
announced by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
The 15 district teams are voted on by the member coaches of the NABC and are now eligible for the NABC/Chevrolet Division I All-American Team to be announced at the conclusion of the 2000-01 NCAA men's basketball season.
Griffin, a 6-9 forward, leads the Pirates in scoring with 18.2 points per game and 11.3 rebounds, the third highest total in the nation. The freshman also leads the nation in blocks per game with 4.6 and tops the country in double-doubles with 19 in 25 games.
