Brian Laing Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. Seton Hall junior Brian Laing (Bronx, N.Y.) was named to the BIG EAST Conference Men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. 

Laing recorded career-highs of 25 points and nine rebounds in a tough, 76-71, loss to Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday at the Continental Airlines Arena.  His previous career-high of 19 points was tied in the season-opener vs. Caldwell. 

The 6-foot-5 forward leads the team with an average of 22.0 points per game and is tied for the team lead with 6.0 rebounds per game on the early season. 

Laing and the rest of the Pirates return to action on Saturday, November 25 when they travel to Baltimore, Maryland to take on Morgan State.  Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
