
Niziolek and Giusfredi Earn Men's Soccer All-Northeast Region Honors

Niziolek had a career-year as a senior, tallying five goals and four assists for a career-high 14 points. Niziolek scored two game-winners this year, including the overtime tally to help SHU rally for a 2-1 win at
Giusfredi was the focal point of opposing defenses, but still managed to rank in the top five in the BIG EAST with nine goals (t-fourth) and 22 points (fifth) in all games. In conference play, Giusfredi was even better, ranking third in points (17) and goals (seven). The Argentina-native earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors this season and was an all-region third team pick as a freshman. Giusfredi was named a Preseason All-BIG EAST member after notching 11 goals and three assists as a rookie.
