Seton Hall never trailed in the contest, jumping out to a 10-1 lead while holding the Knights without a field goal for the game’s first nine minutes. A Rhodin three-pointer with 5:19 to play in the opening half pushed the lead into double-figures for the first time, and a long two-pointer from sophomore guard Shantel Brown (Lakewood, N.J.) at the buzzer sent the Pirates into halftime with a 27-13 advantage.

The Seton Hall defense was suffocating for most of the night as the Knights were limited to 27.1% shooting and forced into 28 turnovers. FDU managed only 13 field goals in the contest.
