The Seton Hall women’s basketball team will open the 2007-08 season at Walsh Gymnasium on Friday, Nov. 9 at 7:00 p.m. vs. the Manhattan Jaspers.
Seton Hall was selected 10th out of 16 teams in the BIG EAST Conference pre-season coaches’ poll.
Phyllis Mangina enters her 23rd year as the Pirates’ head coach. Last year, The Hall made the fourth biggest improvement in the NCAA from the year before, improving their record by 11 games and 13 wins. Seton Hall went (19-12) and advanced to the second round of the WNIT in 2006-07. Senior Ela Mukosiej is the leading returning scorer at 11.8 points per game.
