Seton Hall will host the first college basketball game in
The men’s basketball program begins its second year under Head Coach Bobby Gonzalez. Tri-captains Brian Laing, Jamar Nutter, and Paul Gause are expected to lead the way, along with holdovers Eugene Harvey, John Garcia, and Larry Davis.
Seton Hall was selected 13th out of 16 teams in the BIG EAST Conference pre-season coaches’ poll.
Seton Hall dominated Concordia College, 87-49, in their only exhibition game on November 2. Brian Laing led four double-figure Pirate scorers with 16 points.
The Hall defeated Monmouth last year, 83-49, in the clubs’ only meeting on December 4 in
All 31 Pirate contests this season, home and away, will be heard on 77WABC. Gary Cohen and Dave Popkin return for their fifth year together calling the action. 23 regular season games will be televised, including the November 11 opener on SNY.
