The Pirates jumped out to a 16-2 lead to begin the game and led by as many as 24 in the opening half. SHU stretched the lead to 51 with 46 seconds left in the game.
The Hall hit 51.5 percent from the field while holding the Cougars to just 22.8 percent. Seton Hall also had a 52-28 edge on the glass and forced 29 turnovers.
Seton Hall’s 93 points are the most it has scored since a 95-59 win over Monmouth on Nov. 27, 1993. The 49-point margin of victory is the largest since the Pirates defeated Northeastern by 59 points, 92-33, on Dec. 2, 1995.
