Fresh off their thrilling 63-61 victory over #19 USC on Thursday, the Pirates are currently taking on #12 Memphis. At the half, the Tigers lead 44-30. Junior Eugene Harvey and sophomore Jeremy Hazell are leading the way for Seton Hall with 12 points a piece.
Seton Hall grabbed an early lead as Harvey scored four of the Pirates first seven points giving them a 7-4 lead. Memphis roared back with a quick 5-0 run of their own capped by a three-pointer by Willie Kemp to give the Tigers a 13-9 lead with 15:50 left in the first.
An 8-1 Memphis run highlighted by a thunderous Tyreke Evans dunk pushed the Tigers out to a 21-12 lead. But Seton Hall once again answered with a 5-0 run and a Hazell three-pointer pulled the Pirates to within four, 21-17, with 11:02 remaining in the first.
Memphis widened the margin with a 9-2 run to make the score 34-22 with 5:39 left on the first half clock.
