The Hall fell behind 6-0 before sophomore Ebonie Williams (
Kiva Herman hit three straight buckets for the Toreros as they took a 20-15 lead with 9:43 remaining. Seton Hall again drew to within one on a third consecutive field goal by senior Noteisha Womack (Washington, D.C.) before taking the lead on an interior basket from Emery that made it 21-20 at the 7:25 mark.
An old-fashioned 3-point play by Womack gave the Pirates a 27-25 lead with 3:18 on the clock, and her 14 first-half points helped SHU go into the break with a 32-31 edge.
A 15-5 run out of the break put the Toreros ahead 46-37 at the 14:05 mark. A jumper by Herman pushed it to 50-39, but an 11-2 spurt, capped by two free throws from junior Ashley Booker (
Womack finished with 20 points and 16 rebounds for the Hall, while Williams added 19. Herman scored a game-high 28 points to lead
