Ebonie Williams Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Junior Ebonie Williams (Hagerstown, Md.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after her season-high 23-point performance against UC Davis last Monday.

Williams sank a career-best six three-pointers in the Pirates' 58-54 victory over the Aggies.  She was 8-of-13 overall from the floor and added three rebounds and three assists.

Maya Moore of Connecticut was named the Player of the Week, while Sugar Rodgers of Georgetown picked up the Rookie of the Week Award.  Joining Williams on the Honor Roll are Korinne Campbell of West Virginia, Chelsea Cole of Pittsburgh, Sam Quigley of DePaul and Jessica Pachko of Marquette.
