SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. Freshman Bobby Migliazza (Stamford, Conn.) hit a 3-1 one-out bases loaded pitch up the middle scoring sophomore A.J. Rusbarsky (Freehold, N.J.) to break a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the 10th inning and defeat Iona, 3-2, Sunday afternoon in the final game of the 2009 Strike Out Cancer Tournament at Owen T. Carroll Field.
Rusbarsky led off the bottom of the 10th inning with a single, while junior Chris Fontenelli (
Trailing, 2-0, in the bottom of the seventh inning, Seton Hall (7-5) sophomore Frank Esposito (

Offensively, the Pirates were led by Rusbarsky and Smedberg who picked up a two hits each. Rusbarsky had two runs scored while Smedberg scored one and drove in another.
The Pirates return to action against Stony Brook Tuesday afternoon at Owen T. Carroll Field. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
