
Jeremy Hazell Named to All-BIG EAST Third Team

PROVIDENCE
Hazell led the Pirates to a 16-14 overall record and a #11 seed in the BIG EAST Championship this season. The 6-foot-5 guard averaged a conference second-best 22.5 points per game and was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll four times this season. On Nov. 24, Hazell was named BIG EAST Player of the Week. One of the most prolific scorers in recent history at Seton Hall, Hazell became the 37th player in school history to record his 1,000th career point and is one of only five players to have achieved the feat in less than two full seasons.
Hazell reached the 30-point mark six times this season, the most for a Pirate since Dan Callandrillo hit the mark seven times during the 1981-82 season. Against Fairleigh Dickinson, he scored a career-high 35 points and matched the feat a month later against
