Last Tuesday, September 28th, head men's basketball coach, Kevin Willard, and head women's basketball coach, Anne Donovan took a few minutes from their hectic schedules to throw out ceremonial first pitches before the Mets took on the Brewers at CitiField in Flushing, N.Y.
Dubbed Seton Hall Day by the Mets, the coaches also had several opportunities to speak with the media. During the game, SNY's Kevin Burkhart had to chance to discuss Willard's take on the upcoming season and the impact of the recent off-campus shooting in East Orange, N.J. that has impacted the Seton Hall community.
The Mets observed a moment of silence prior to the game in memory of Jessica Moore, who passed away from her injuries, and those who were injured.
