PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Seton Hall junior Jeremy Hazell (Harlem, N.Y.) was named to the BIG EAST All-Second Team on Sunday.
Hazell, named to the All-Third Team last season, averaged a team-best 21.2 points per game in 2009-10, which ranked third in the BIG EAST Conference. Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll four times this season, he scored a career-high 41 points in an overtime loss to #6 West Virginia on Dec. 26. The 6-foot-5 guard topped the 30-point mark seven times this season and currently ranks ninth all-time at Seton Hall with 1,750 career points. The conference leader in three-pointers made per game, Hazell guided the Pirates to nine BIG EAST wins and 18 victories overall, both season highs in the Bobby Gonzalez era.
For the third straight year, Notre Dame forward Luke Harangody was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team, the league announced. The conference's head coaches choose the all-conference teams. The coaches are not permitted to vote for their own players.

The conference will announce Player of the Year, Oppenheimer Funds/BIG EAST Coach of the Year, BIG EAST Rookie of the Year and BIG EAST Scholar-Athlete on Tuesday, March 9.
