
Simmons on All-Tournament Team

Simmons scored in double figures in both games for the Pirates and finished the tournament averaging 13 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
In the tournament opener against Wyoming, Simmons logged a season-high 28 minutes and scored 12 points while dishing out five assists without committing a turnover; the five assists tied her career-best.
Against South Dakota on Saturday, Simmons scored a team-high 14 points while grabbing four rebounds. Displaying an aggressive will to get to the basket throughout the game, she finished with a career-high 11 free throw attempts, converting a personal best 8-for-11 from the stripe. It was the first time this season she led the team in scoring.
Simmons has scored in double figures three times already this season and ranks second on the team in scoring (8.0 ppg), assists (2.0 apg) and steals (2.0 spg).
The Seton Hall University women's basketball team begins a two-game home stand this Wednesday, Nov. 28, when it hosts Siena College at Walsh Gymnasium in South Orange, N.J. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
