Jordan Theodore Named NABC Second Team All-District

KANSAS CITY, MO. - Jordan Theodore (Englewood, N.J.) has been named Second Team All-District by The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).  The NABC recognizes the nation's best men's collegiate basketball student-athletes.  Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, these student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America.  The 240 student-athletes, from 24 districts, are eligible for the NABC Coaches' Division I All-America teams, to be announced on Tuesday, March 20.

Theodore has been one of the most improved players in the BIG EAST this season.  A starter in all 33 games this season games for the Pirates, he ranks ninth in the BIG EAST with 16.1 points per game, second with 6.7 assists per game and fifth shooting 83.1% from the free-throw line.  Theodore was named Second Team All-BIG EAST and to the conference's Weekly Honor Roll five times.  Most notably, he broke Seton Hall's 49-year old, single-season record for assists.  On Feb. 21, he scored a career-high 29 points in Seton Hall's thrilling upset of #9 Georgetown.  Theodore has recorded seven double-doubles this season and is one of just four Pirates all-time with over 1,200 career points and 500 career assists.
