Baseball's Delepine Places Third at BIG EAST's Home Run Derby

CLEARWATER, FLA. - Seton Hall junior Connor Delepine (Middletown, N.J.) placed third at the Home Run Derby at Bright House Field, part of the 2012 BIG EAST Championship Opening Ceremonies.
Delepine blasted three home runs in the opening round and advanced to the finals along with Rutgers' Patrick Kivlehan, USF's Jimmy Falla and Notre Dame's Trey Mancini.
In the final round, Delepine hit one home run, but Mancini ended up winning the competition.
The Pirates will return to the diamond on Wednesday, May 23, when they take on Rutgers in the first round of the 2012 BIG EAST Championship in Clearwater, Fla. First pitch is scheduled for 10:00 am.
