SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - The 2013-14 Seton Hall men's basketball television schedule, complete with game times, was finalized Tuesday. Through the BIG EAST's robust partnership with FOX Sports, the Pirates will have 30 of their 31 games televised nationally or regionally during the regular-season. The landmark package represents the most televised games in a single season for the Pirates, and it is the first time ever all 18 home contests will be broadcast live.
Included in the coverage are 15 games on FOX Sports 1, the network's newest cable station that launched in over 90 million homes in August. Three games will air on FOX Sports 2, while the remainder of the BIG EAST package will be split between FOX Sports Networks and CBS Sports Network.
The Pirates' two games in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic at Barclays Center in Brooklyn will air live on truTV. Seton Hall squares off with Oklahoma in the semifinals on Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. before taking on either Michigan State or Virginia Tech the next night. The 65th meeting between the Pirates and archrival Rutgers on Dec. 8 in Piscataway will be picked up by ESPNU at 8 p.m.
Five of Seton Hall's nine BIG EAST road games can be seen on FOX Sports 1. The Pirates kick-off the conference schedule at Providence on New Year's Eve at 2:30 p.m. as part of the FOX Sports 1 BIG EAST marathon. The Pirates and Friars will be the second game of five consecutive nationally televised BIG EAST contests that day.
FOX Sports 1 has the entire 2014 BIG EAST Tournament live from Madison Square Garden. Four straight days of basketball at The World's Most Famous Arena concludes on Sat., March 15 at 8:30 p.m. when the revamped conference crowns its champion before a national audience.
