South Orange, N.J. - The 2015-16 Seton Hall men's basketball team will commence its season on Saturday, Oct. 31 with an exhibition against the Baruch Bearcats at Walsh Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for noon.
The talented Pirates bring back seven student-athletes from last season's team that won the Paradise Jam and Garden State Hardwood Classic titles and defeated a pair of Associated Press top 15 teams. Among the seven are reigning BIG EAST Rookie of the Year Angel Delgado (Bajos De Haina, Dominican Republic), BIG EAST All-Rookie Isaiah Whitehead (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and two-time BIG EAST Rookie of the Week Khadeen Carrington (Brooklyn, N.Y.).
The Hall also welcomes six newcomers, including graduate transfers Braeden Anderson (Okotoks, Alberta) and Derrick Gordon (Plainfield, N.J.).
After Saturday's exhibition, fans can next see the Pirates in their regular season home opener on Friday, Nov. 13 against Dartmouth at Prudential Center.
