HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL. - Junior Megan Tenhundfeld (Loveland, Ohio) shot a 2-over-par, 74, in Sunday's final round to lead the Seton Hall women's golf team to a sixth place finish at the Bearcat Spring Classic.
Tenhundfeld notched her eighth career top-10 finish with a 10th place tie. For the tournament, she finished at 12-over-par with an 80-74-74-228, nine strokes behind the individual champion, Bradley's Danielle Lemek.

Memphis won the team title at 28-over-par.
"I'm really pleased with how we finished this tournament," said head coach Sara Doell. "A number of individual scores came down today and we were able to move up the leader board. I'm very content with the progress we've shown so far this spring."
Freshman Cassie Pantelas (Canton, Ohio) and senior Erin McClure (Tucson, Ariz.) each shot a final round 4-over-par, 76. Pantelas finished the tournament tied for 25th place with a 17-over-par, 78-79-76-233. Designed by Gary Koch and built in 1992, Las Colinas (Spanish for "the hills") is an 18-hole championship course that offers quite a different challenge. It is an inland links design with generous, wide-open fairways, gentle rolling hills and large, undulating greens. Las Colinas was nominated as "Best New Resort Course" by Golf Digest in 1992, named "Best Places to Play - 4 stars" by Golf Digest, and has received "Top Fairways" recognition by Golf for Women. Its signature hole is "Alligator Alley", the par 5, 12th hole that spans 493 yards along a tree-lined fairway and requires absolute accuracy from tee-to-green. In all, the course plays to a par-72 and measures 6,225 yards for this event.
In addition to Seton Hall and a pair of teams from host Cincinnati, the Bearcats Spring Classic featured 15 other teams including Memphis, Seminole State, Rutgers, Texas A&M, UAB, Winthrop, Northern Illinois, Jacksonville, Southern Mississippi, Central Arkansas, Florida Southern, Florida Atlantic, Bradley, Illinois State and North Dakota State.
Seton Hall will return to the links when it hosts its second annual Pirate Invitational at Trump National in Bedminster, N.J., April 2-3.
