NEW YORK - The BIG EAST Conference has launched a cross-channel marketing campaign to promote and sell tickets for the 2016 BIG EAST Men's Basketball Tournament Presented by the Jeep Brand, set to take over New York City at Madison Square Garden, the World's Most Famous Arena, from March 9-12 for the 34th-consecutive year.
The campaign includes national and local television, social, digital, SEO, out-of-home and grassroots email marketing. Television spots will air nationally and locally on the FOX family of networks, including FOX affiliates in New York City, Philadelphia, Providence, Washington, D.C. and Milwaukee.
Ads can be seen on subways, commuter rail, and NYC & Philadelphia taxi cabs, website homepage takeovers plus Twitter and Facebook promotions. The conference's partners and member schools will also support the effort in-arena and via their social media platforms.
"The #MadeAtMSG campaign reflects the significance BIG EAST student-athletes, coaches, alumni and fans place on playing our tournament at MSG. The grit and intensity of New York City, coupled with The Garden atmosphere, creates an experience like no other in college basketball," said Ann Crandall, Chief Marketing Officer of the BIG EAST.
Single session tournament tickets are available online www.ticketmaster.com/BIGEAST.
