Tosoni Named BIG EAST Swimmer of the Week

NEW YORK – Sophomore Joshua Tosoni (Arnold, Md.) of the Seton Hall men's swimming & diving team swept the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke in two different meets on the team's opening weekend on Oct. 6-7, and was named BIG EAST Conferece Swimmer of the Week, announced Tuesday by the league office.
Tosoni picked up his wins in the 100 and 200 breast (2:05.10 - top time in BIG EAST this season) against UMBC, and swam a season-best 56.84 in the 100 in a team victory over Rider.
Looking ahead, the Pirates host Monmouth and Montclair State on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m.
