
Pirates Host Princeton On Thursday Night

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. -- The Seton Hall women's basketball team (2-0) is back at historic Walsh Gymnasium on Thursday night when it welcomes top in-state rival Princeton (1-0) for a 7 p.m. showdown. The contest will air live and FREE on the Pirate Sports Network with John Fanta, David Gass and Dagen Hughes on the call.Â
Thursday night at Walsh is the annual "Bozzella Pizza Party," with head coach Anthony Bozzella providing FREE PIZZA for all students in attendance. Student tickets are free of charge, while single-game tickets for all fans are available for as low as $10 by calling the Seton Hall ticket office at 973-275-HALL (4255).
The Hall opened its season last weekend with a win over Saint Peter's on Nov. 10 before notching a big road win at Wake Forest on Nov. 12. Graduate wing Donnaizha Fountain (Roxbury, Mass.) led the Pirates with 20.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in her first Seton Hall action, picking up BIG EAST Player of the Week honors in the process. The Pirates are 11-5 all-time against the Tigers with Thursday night marking the fourth-straight year the two sides have squared. Princeton is the second of four Garden State foes for The Hall this season.Â

- After meeting 13 times between 1976-96, the two sides did not square off again until the 2013-14 season
