Seton Hall Opens 100 Level for Villanova Game March 9

South Orange, N.J. - In response to overwhelming demand for tickets for the March 9 men's basketball game against Villanova, Seton Hall Athletics will open the 100 level of Prudential Center for the third straight year. The lower bowl of the arena, which has a capacity of 10,481, exhausted its ticket availability just hours into the opening of single-game ticket sales to the general public.

Student tickets to the Villanova game are handled separately, and will be made available to active Seton Hall students with valid ID beginning on Monday, March 4.

The Seton Hall-Villanova game at Prudential Center has produced three of the arena's top six attended Pirates games, including the record crowd of 16,733 for the Feb. 18, 2017 game and the 13,711 crowd for the Feb. 28, 2018 game.

The Wildcats and Pirates are the only two teams in the BIG EAST Conference to win the conference tournament since 2015 with Seton Hall taking down Villanova in the 2016 title game and the Wildcats capturing the other three. Since the start of the 2015-16 season, Villanova and Seton Hall are first and third, respectively, in conference wins (including conference tournament) among the 10 league members.

Single-game tickets to all other men's basketball home games at Prudential Center are still available as well by visiting Ticketmaster.com, and season tickets and mini-plans, which would include tickets to the Villanova game, are also available and represent the best value for Pirates fans.
