Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Junior Myles Powell (Trenton, N.J.) scored 25 points, and the Seton Hall men's basketball team was 22-for-28 from the free throw line in a 76-62 win over Boston College in a charity exhibition Saturday at Conte Forum. All proceeds from the event are going to the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh.

Powell was 7-for-13 from the field and 9-for-10 from the free throw line while also grabbing four rebounds and picking up three steals. Sophomore Myles Cale (Middletown, Del.) was the next highest scorer with 11 points. Junior Romaro Gill (St. Thomas, Jamaica) posted 10 points, five rebounds and four blocked shots, and sophomore Sandro Mamukelashvili (Tblisi, Georgia) had eight points and 13 rebounds.

Seton Hall's leader in assists was freshman Anthony Nelson (New York, N.Y.), who had four in 21 minutes played.

The Pirates out-rebounded the Eagles, 49-33.

Ten days from now, Seton Hall will commence the regular season as the Pirates host Wagner on Tuesday, Nov. 6 inside historic Walsh Gymnasium at 6:30 p.m. The game will be televised on FS2, and Gary Cohen and Dave Popkin will have the radio broadcast on AM970 The Answer, simulcast on the Pirate Sports Network.
