Turning Point
An early 14-2 run set the tone for the Pirates, who never trailed. Powell brought the fans to their feet with a pick-six steal off a bad pass and a ferocious dunk on the other end to make it 16-6 in favor of The Hall.Â
Seton Hall led by 16 points at halftime, but it was the second half that proved to be the difference, opening with a 12-2 run that included a pair of steals, punctuated by a Thompson three and a Mamukelashvili layup from Cale. Wagner opened the second half just 3-for-13 from the field.
The Pirates then pressed on, leading by 30 or more for the final nine minutes of the contest.
