The home away from home.
Madison Square Garden might not be Seton Hall's home arena, but the site of the BIG EAST Tournament for the last 36 years and many more to come certainly can feel like home. Seton Hall not only plays well at MSG, it is in the minds of many of its student-athletes with half the roster hailing from either New York or New Jersey. They know the history and aura surrounding The Garden, and they know the opportunity that is front of them.
No. 9 Kentucky awaits the Pirates in The World's Most Famous Arena, and on the broadcast television stage, the Pirates look to once again use The Garden magic they've had these last few years to raise some eyebrows and come out victorious.
Â
Saturday's game will be televised on the FOX Broadcast Network (WNYW 5 in New York) with Gus Johnson and Jim Jackson on the call and Andy Katz serving as sideline reporter. You can also catch it on the FOX Sports app. Gary Cohen and Dave Popkin will be courtside for the radio broadcast on AM970 The Answer, simulcast on XM 381, the Pirate Sports Network and the SHU Pirates Mobile App.
You can still purchase tickets to the game through Ticketmaster.

Three Things to Know About Saturday's Game vs. Kentucky
Â1. It's Not Easy Beating Seton Hall Inside MSG
Over the last 11 games played inside Madison Square Garden, Seton Hall is 8-3, and this includes four wins over nationally ranked teams. The Pirates seem to thrive playing in the arena, and the best part might be that of those 11 games, the largest score margin is only 10. Six of the 11 games have been decided by five points or fewer and a seventh game went to overtime. Myles Powell, who may have grown up in Trenton and thus closer to Philadelphia, understands and loves the Garden atmosphere. He's averaging 14.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in seven career MSG appearances.
Â
2. The Turnover Game is Key
In spite of having a young team, Seton Hall has done a good job limiting turnovers, so much so that the Pirates are 14th in the nation in turnovers, averaging only 10.3 per game. In comparison, Kentucky is averaging 15.3 turnovers a game. The five-turnover difference could be a game changer on Saturday. If the Pirates can limit them on their end while turning UK over and generating offense off the giveaways, the Pirates could be in business.
Â
3. Both Teams Go Low
Someone better have some touch-up paint handy on Saturday. Kentucky averages 38.3 points in the paint per game. The Pirates average 36.5 points per game in the paint. Both teams are thriving near the basket, and the team that can get to the rim and finish better on Saturday will have a head start on a victory.
