
Rodriguez Named to Reese's College All-Star Game

Kansas City, Mo. -Â Senior Desi Rodriguez (Bronx, N.Y.) of the Seton Hall men's basketball team has been named to the Reese's College All-Star Game, which features the top senior student-athletes from NCAA Div. I. Rodriguez will be on the West roster and play the East team this Friday as part of Final Four Friday at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas at 4:30 p.m., Eastern. The game will be televised live on CBS Sports Network and replayed on the same channel again at 9 p.m.
Rodriguez's appearance in the Reese's College All-Star Game will be a part of a busy weekend for the 6-6 wing, who will also participate in the inaugural Dos Equis 3x3U National Championship, which runs from Friday through Sunday at St. Mary's University in San Antonio.

Rodriguez just finished his four-year Pirates career as the 12th-leading scorer in school history, amassing 1,657 points in 129 games. This past season, he was a second-team All-BIG EAST selection after leading the Pirates and ranking 10th in the conference in scoring at 17.5 points per game. He generated 12 games of 20 points or more this season, including a career-high 33 against DePaul on Feb. 18 as well as a 29-point performance at then No. 17 Louisville on Dec. 3, 2017. He was named BIG EAST Player of the Week on Dec. 4 and was a four-time member of the conference honor roll. Rodriguez has also earned USBWA All-District, NABC All-District and All-ECAC honors this season.
In addition to ranking 12th in scoring at Seton Hall, Rodriguez also ended his career fifth in games played (129), 16th in games started (97), 19th in minutes played (3,390), 13th in field goals made (609), tied for 14th in three-pointers made (139) and tied for 18th in steals (138).
