Three Pirates Invited to Portsmouth Invitational

Portsmouth, Va. - Seton Hall men's basketball seniors Khadeen Carrington (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Angel Delgado (Bajos De Haina, Dominican Republic) and Desi Rodriguez (Bronx, N.Y.) have all received invitations to compete at the 2018 Portsmouth Invitational, the annual, four-day, 12-game tournament that showcases college basketball seniors who have exhausted their eligibility and are beginning their professional careers. The tournament takes place April 11-14 at the Churchland High School Sports Complex.

The Pirates trio are three of the most decorated Seton Hall student-athletes in school history, helping Seton Hall win 84 games, reach three consecutive NCAA Tournaments and win the 2016 BIG EAST Tournament championship. They combined to score 5,096 points, grab 2,489 rebounds and issue 797 assists and combined to land five All-BIG EAST selections and five BIG EAST All-Academic team selections as well as six All-Met Writers selections (2018 All-Met Writers honorees have not yet been announced), four NABC All-District and three USBWA All-District awards.
