2018 Wooden Legacy Bracket Revealed

Charlotte, N.C. - ESPN Events has revealed the bracket for the 2018 Wooden Legacy tournament, which will take place Nov. 22-25 at Titan Gym in Fullerton, Calif. The Seton Hall men's basketball team has drawn Grand Canyon University in the first round and will play the Lopes on Thanksgiving night, Nov. 22, at 9 p.m., Eastern. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3 and available on the ESPN App. The other six schools challenging for the tournament title are Fresno State, Hawai'i, La Salle, Miami (FL), Northwestern and Utah.

The winner of the Seton Hall-Grand Canyon game will face the winner of the Hawai'i-Utah game in the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 23 at 11:30 p.m., Eastern, on ESPN2. The championship game will take place Sunday, Nov. 25 at 10:30 p.m., Eastern, on ESPN2.

The Lopes, coached by former NBA All-Star Dan Majerle, went 22-12 last season overall and 9-5 in the Western Athletic Conference. They advanced to the WAC Tournament final, falling to top seed New Mexico State, and then earned a berth into the CollegeInsider.com Tournament, where they lost a first-round matchup to Mercer.

The Grand Canyon game is the seventh confirmed non-conference game for the Pirates in 2018-19. The program used its impressive 2017-18 non-conference schedule to catapult it into the national rankings and a top-eight seed in the NCAA Tournament. This upcoming season appears to be more of the same as five of the seven confirmed games are against teams that played in national postseason last year:

Louisville (Dec. 1) - NIT Quarterfinals

Under head coach Kevin Willard, this will be Seton Hall's ninth Multi-Team Exempt Tournament appearance. The Pirates are 18-9 in these tournament games with a Paradise Jam tournament title in 2014 and a runner-up finish at the Charleston Classic in 2011:
