Four Pirates to Participate in NBA Summer League

South Orange, N.J. - The 2018 MGM Resorts NBA Summer League will have strong Pirates representation as four former members of the Seton Hall men's basketball team will participate in the action beginning this Friday in Las Vegas. Class of 2018 graduates Khadeen Carrington, Angel Delgado and Desi Rodriguez will join class of 2014 graduate Fuquan Edwin in Las Vegas looking to make an impact.
Carrington will be on the Detroit Pistons roster, Delgado and Rodriguez are reuniting on the Los Angeles Clippers roster, and Edwin has landed on the Toronto Raptors roster, playing for the franchise which is affiliated with the G League team that Edwin plays for, Raptors 905.
Each team will play three games between July 6 and July 9, and then all 30 teams will be seeded into a tournament that will take place July 11-17. Once tournament play begins, each team is guaranteed to play two games and could play as many as five.Â
All games are taking place on the UNLV campus at either the Thomas & Mack Center or Cox Pavilion. All games will be on either the ESPN family of networks or on NBA TV.
Former Seton Hall star and current Brooklyn Nets guard Isaiah Whitehead participated in each of the last two NBA Summer Leagues.
